We Welcome All to Join Us!

Services are Sunday at 11 a.m. with Sunday School beginning at 9:45 a.m.


Backpack Pals: RPC will be working with Earl Bradsher Preschool in the Backpack Pals program beginning September 19. We are responsible for transporting and delivering 15 backpacks, pre-filled with nutritious food, from the Beulah Baptist Association to Earl Bradsher on Thursday of each week. Contact Kay Lowrance for more information.

Help Curb Community Hunger: Both the Pennies for Hunger drive and the "Fill the Grocery Bag" campaign are being held through September 28. Fill you penny jar and your grocery bag then bring them to church! For more information, contact Carolyn Woodall.

Roxboro Presbyterian Church Lakside Worship Service and Covered-Dish Picnic scheduled for Sunday, September 21. Service will begin at 11 a.m. with the meal to follow. For additional information, contact Pastor Evan at (336) 599-1564.

VBS Logo-2014Make plans to join the Jungle Safari as RPC hosts a one-day Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 19th. We have a fun-filled day planned! Please extend invitations to friends, family, and anyone else you know who would enjoy the experience.


RPC's Summer Mission is Pennies for Hunger. If you have not recived your Pennies for Hunger container, please contact Carolyn Woodall! All donations will be collected in September.


Barium Springs VisitDelores and Alice give Lori, from Barium Springs Home for Children, essentials for the kids. Additional items and cash donations are being accepted through the month of March!


Souper Bowl Sunday Donation

Roxboro Presbyterian Church had a “SOUPER BOWL” during January and early February when they collected soup and crackers to donate to the Christian Help Center. Donations included 69 boxes of crackers, 365 regular cans of soup and 54 large cans of soup. Cynthia Wilson, Christian Help Center Director, spoke about the many services offered at the Center at the church’s Wednesday night supper on February 5. Halloween1RPC held a "Halloween Bash" on October 31 at the church. Events included Trunk or Treating, games with prizes and goodies and a chili dinner. Over 90 kids and their families enjoyed the activities inside and more than 350 kids participated in the Trunk or Treating. For photos of the event, visit: https://rpcphotos.shutterfly.com/pictures

RPC Friends and Members collected items to assist expectant mothers and newborns in our community during the month of October. This project was sponsored by Presbyterian Women. Tabatha Philpott visited during a Wednesday Night Supper to educate RPC Friends and Members about the Maternal Health Services through the Person County Health Department. Items needed included: bottles, diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, bath items, blankets, bibs, and similar baby items.

Pennies for Hunger and Food Collection Project - (Oct. 2013) - RPC Friends and Members raised over $1,500 for Pennies for Hunger. These funds will be divided between local food pantries and Presbyterian World Hunger projects. In addition, 920 pounds of food items were collected and delivered to the Christian Help Center on September 30! Thanks for your support of this project!

About RPC's Minister: As RPC members enter a new chapter in the Church's history, we look forward to welcoming Rev. William Evan Walker as the new minister on July 1, 2013. Rev. Walker and his wife, Jennifer, will be coming to RPC from First Presbyterian Church in Sturgis, Kentucky. Earning his Master of Divinity degree in 2009 from Princeton Theological, Rev. Walker also studied history at King College in Bristol, TN.Please join us in welcoming Evan and Jennifer to Roxboro Presbyterian Church and the Person County Community. For photos of Rev. Thank you to Rev. Dr. Mickey Efird - RPC was fortunate to have Dr. Efird as a stated supply while we searched for a new minister. RPC members are grateful to Dr. Efird and Rev. Mary Banner for their support and dedication during this search process.
